Junior Enlisted Guardsman
Learn and train in unique specialties while carrying out orders to contribute toward your team’s mission.
PRIVATE (E-1)
Private (PV1) is the most Junior rank whose main role is to carry out orders.

Private Second Class (PV2) is the next rank and the first time an insignia is worn.

SPECIALIST (E-4)
Specialists (SPC) are considered skilled in their MOS and are expected to operate with a greater degree of independence.

Train and oversee Guardsmen in their daily tasks and help them develop the skills used in team missions.
CORPORAL (E-4)
Corporal (CPL) serves as a team leader to small units.

Sergeant (SGT) has the most direct impact on guardsmen, being part of the squad-level command.

Senior Non-Commissioned Officer
As the expert in your field, you’ll help commissioned Officers advise on missions and policies.

Sergeant First Class (SFC) helps run a platoon.

Master Sergeant (MSG)/First Sergeant (1SG) supports the commander, usually, at company level.

Sergeant Major (SGM) is an expert in their field, advises on policies, and assists Officers at the battalion level.
COMMAND SERGEANT MAJOR (E-9)
Command Sergeant Major (CSM) is a senior NCO, serving at brigade level or above.
